Yes, We DO Wear White After Labor Day
In my book, it’s perfectly acceptable to wear white after Labor Day. In fact, it’s preferred. Especially when it comes to creating what is sure to be remembered as a banner snow year for the Wasatch Back and Deer Valley Resort.
Let’s be honest. The past few years of snowfall for Utah has been less than stellar.
In fact, skiing last year at Deer Valley made me realize just how great the grooming team at the resort is at making and pushing snow around to create totally acceptable skiing in a not so hot snow year.
But this year that’s all changed.
Deer Valley’s 2015-16 snow fall is seeing a big resurgence that has local and worldwide guests remembering and reliving the claim that Utah does indeed boast the Greatest Snow on Earth.
I’ve spent more time taking photographs of the white, crystallized and snow-capped mountains this year than ever before. Chalk it up to the convenience of having my handy iPhone always within reach to grab a snap, or maybe to the fact that I’ve succumbed to the art of the humble brag to Facebook friends.
Like!
Either way, I’m taking up a lot more memory in my phone, and in my mind, with visions of Utah’s breathtaking winter wonderland landscape
Welcome back, snow. We’re glad you’re home.
