For the second year in a row, Deer Valley Resort welcomes skiers to take part in the Shred for Red event on opening day, Saturday, December 7. Participating skiers will compete in fun, family-friendly, on- and off-mountain activities and challenges to celebrate the start of the 2019-2020 winter season, as well as spread awareness and raise funds to eradicate blood cancers. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Utah.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and is proud of the progress it has made towards their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and to improve the lives of patients and their families.

Each Shred for Red participant who raises more than $300 will enjoy an unforgettable day on the slopes, including a full-day lift ticket to Deer Valley Resort, on-mountain challenges/activities, a Shred for Red participant bib, the opportunity to ski and take photos with past and current Winter Olympians, as well as access to an exclusive après-ski reception. This experience is family-friendly and open to skiers of all abilities.
