This week Grand Lodge Operations Manager, Jim Carriel, gives us the inside scoop on this slope-side property.

What makes your property unique?

The personality that encompasses The Grand Lodge is the biggest differentiation we have. Between our breakfast offerings, s’mores parties, and front desk presence, being at The Grand Lodge truly feels as though one is at home. When guests and owners walk down to the lobby to ask a question in socks and a robe, it’s truly evident how comfortable everyone feels and how happy everyone is to be here.

What is your favorite thing about your property?

Our ski-in/ski-out access at the base of the Northside Express chairlift  is an obvious favorite, but my true favorite thing about The Grand Lodge has to be the people who stay here. The Grand Lodge attracts a certain type of person who is friendly, excited and grateful for their trip, and we are always more than happy to be able to put together the best experience possible for our guests.

What is a tip you have for a first time guest staying at your property?

Ask a lot of questions! There is so much to do in Park City and we can help to coordinate all of it. Whether it’s dinner reservations, activities to book, shopping recommendations or general needs (groceries, transportation, etc.), we can make sure all of it is taken care of prior to ones arrival. This will make a stress-free vacation only promising lots and lots of fun!
