Deer Valley A-Z | Hot Toddy

At The Brass Tag restaurant, the brick oven and Deer Valley-inspired menu aren’t the only things warming the clientele. The hot toddy is a staple for warming up after a chilly day on the slopes.

Named the Sultan, this particular hot toddy rendition takes local High West Campfire Whiskey—a blend of rye, bourbon, and scotch also known for its complexity and smokiness—and combines it with housemade orange bitters, fresh lemon juice, and locally-sourced Clifford Farms honey. Plus, the hot toddy can often help remedy a cold or cough.

The orange glow of the cocktail, silhouetted by an open fire, melts frosty noses as skiers unwind from a day on the slopes at Deer Valley Resort.
