Deer Valley A-Z | Artisanal

Long gone are the days of greasy food in a ski lodge cafeteria. At Deer Valley Resort, the impeccable attention to detail doesn’t stop once you set your skis on the rack for a midday snack or head out for dinner with friends.

From fine dining at The Mariposa to the Seafood Buffet, where piles of Dungeness crab, shrimp and fresh fish are flown in daily from across the country, to the enticing take-home entrées at the Deer Valley Grocery~Café, a great place to also grab coffee, a morning pastry or a casual lunch, there’s something for everyone here. On the mountain, Royal Street Café, located at Silver Lake Lodge, is an ideal meeting place for grilled tuna tacos, locally-raised pulled pork sandwiches and more.

During your visit, don’t overlook The Brass Tag, Deer Valley’s newest restaurant. Located in the Lodges at Deer Valley, The Brass Tag’s menu features an array of Deer Valley-inspired brick oven cuisine. Also not to be missed is Fireside Dining, where stone fireplaces churn out European alpine specialties such as raclette (is there anything better after a day of skiing?), hearty stews and leg of lamb, with one fireplace reserved exclusively for dessert fondues.
